Get Help For Substance Use & Dependence

Clients with confirmed or suspected substance use problems who live in Armstrong, Indiana, or Clarion County can call one of the numbers listed below. The caller should be prepared to answer questions regarding their substance use problem in a short screening to determine if an assessment is needed. An assessment will determine the recommended Level of Care for treatment. Referral to an appropriate treatment facility is coordinated by a Case Manager to assist the individual in starting treatment.

Case Managers assist individuals in accessing available funding sources for treatment. Preferential treatment services are available for pregnant women.

Case Coordination Services

Case Coordination Services are offered to all individuals who are experiencing problems related to alcohol and/or other drugs. Case Coordination Services assist individuals to identify non–treatment needs, develop/expand their current skills, and increase support necessary for their individual recovery needs. This is a voluntary program. All Case Management services are confidential.

The primary functions of Case Coordination Services are:

  • Evaluate your needs
  • Identify your strengths
  • Help you with goal setting
  • Link you to resources
  • Advocate for your rights
  • Coach you as you work toward your goals

Case Managers can assist you with needs or goals in any of the following areas:

  • Education/Vocation
  • Employment
  • Physical Health
  • Emotional/Mental Health
  • Family/Social
  • Living Arrangements/Housing
  • Legal Status
  • Basic Neeeds (food, clothing, transportation)
  • Life Skills
