Emerging Youth Drug Trends
On May 27, 2026, AICDAC hosted an informative presentation on youth emerging drug trends. The presentation was hosted at Lenape Technical School in Armstrong County for parents/caregivers to learn about what items are being sold in local vape shops that aren’t typical nicotine products.
The presentation was designed and presented by AICDAC Prevention Specialist II, Lindsay Earley. AICDAC offered a catered dinner to all attendees and a chance to win a family pass to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium.
A special thank you to the Armstrong Drug Free Coalition for developing the idea for the event and supporting AICDAC’s efforts in prevention in the community.
High School Students Participate in Project Sticker Shock
AICDAC and local high school students throughout the three counties recently partnered with alcohol distributors to participate in Project Sticker Shock. This program places warning stickers on cases of alcohol to remind adults not to purchase or provide alcohol to minors — knowingly or unknowingly. With prom and graduation season upon us, this is an especially crucial time to raise awareness about the dangers and legal consequences of underage drinking. We want to remind all patrons that providing alcohol to anyone under the age of twenty-one is against the law. Together, we can help keep youth safe and promote healthy, responsible choices within our communities.
Drug Take Back Day April 2026

The AICDAC Prevention Team, in partnership with local law enforcement officials, hosted events in all three counties, collecting a total of 317 pounds of medication.

This year, Prevention II Specialist, Lindsay Earley, designed a sticker for local coffee shops to display on their cups in Armstrong, Indiana, and Clarion Counties.
