SUD Focus group for Armstrong and Indiana county HealthChoices members and family
Beacon Health Options is hosting Focus Groups for persons who have used or are using substances. We want to know how we can better serve our members. Please join us. We are interested in your experiences accessing treatment.
Beacon has scheduled three focus group meetings, one for youth/young adults, one for adult members and one for families. You must be a HealthChoices member or family member.
Union High School Students participate in Project Sticker Shock
On May 5th, 2021, four National Honor Society members from Union High School, participated in the Project Sticker Shock campaign at Rimersburg Beverage. Project Sticker Shock is designed to limit youth under 21 accessing alcohol.
Prescription Drug Take Back Program
There are permanent prescription drug takeback boxes available in Armstrong, Indiana, and Clarion Counties. These locations provide individuals with a secure and convenient way to dispose of controlled substances. Disposing of prescription medications helps prevent the misuse and abuse of these substances while being environmentally friendly.
National Drug Take Back Day a Success!
On Saturday, April 24th, 2021, Armstrong Indiana Clarion Drug & Alcohol Commission along with Diamond Drug and Sheriff Fyock, collected 180 lbs. of medications to be safely disposed of for National Drug Take Back Day in Indiana County.
